5.8 no spark.
just bought this truck from this guy knowing it has no spark. its a 89 f-250 with a 351w. tfi is on the dissy. I am getting no switching ground tho i am getting a signal from the pip out wire(blue) I back pined all wires coming out of ICM on distributor. Under truck a harness is ripped out guy said harness got caught in driveshaft and stoped running.. looking under there i see wire goign through gear selector switch. didnt fix yet just using jumpers right now to crank and get power to r/b at icm.
Blue(pip)- 200mv cranking
R/b (start) - getting 10 V cranking
W/lb (run b+ from bat) 11.84v key on
g/y (coil -/ idm ) 11.97v key on 9v cranking

I would locate a new harness and start fresh if thats the case. you could spend hours tracing wires and still come up with nothing. have you tested your coil?
