Spartan Tunes

Hi guys.
I have been running spartan gen econ tune as my DD for about a year now.
it seem to be the only tune that will shift out of cruse, and OD without a hard jerk. I have tried the stock plus, the MSE, and all the tow programs with the same hard jerk coming out of OD when in cruse. Has anyone else had this problem?

2005 PSD VXCF4DC

Thanks

Trust me, this is not confined to just the Spartan tunes. My Diablo tuner did the same thing coming out of cruise.

So do you think this is doing any harm to the trans?

I run the MSE for my daily driver as well and it does buck real quick when I brake out of cruise. I have run it for over a year and not seen any damage, but this is a question to think about, I would like to know what the tech's say.

Most likely this is because the torque converter is still locked.

If that's the case, which it seems that is what is happening, then the tune needs to be corrected, it shouldn't work that way. the only tune I have been able to use without this condition is the gen. econ. that one works fine.

I'd be more worried about the turbo. Its not good to just dump all your boost like that.
