Red face Repairing a speaker need help!

I am trying to get ot the driver side door speaker> How do you remove the inside part of the door to get to the speaker. Also is that speaker a 6x9?
Thanks for any help.

Here is a link to the door panel removal in the SD tech folder. Don't know if it will help or not. Also, the speakers in my '05 are 5x7 if I recall correctly but Crutchfield's shows that a 6x9 will work also.

Speaker is a 5x7, but you can get or make an adapter to install 6 1/2 round. Search for pictures on how to remove the door panel, there's lots of info on the forum. Basically pry the switches out, remove a screw, pry the red reflector out, remove another screw, also pull off the black plastic covering the front top corner of the door. The door panel lifts up about an inch and then comes away from the door. There might be another screw in there by the door handle, I can't remember exactly so take your time and be gentle with it.

My bad. Crutchfield says 6x8 will fit not 6x9:
