Tranny question

I have an 05 5.4. When the truck is cold and i take a sharp turn or go uphill, the truck seems to rev a bit before kicking in to gear. It's fine after that. It has happened several times lately. Could I be low on fluid or is something else going on? I have the ESP warranty but haven't brought it to the dealership yet because I feel like they won't be able to reproduce it at this point and it will cost me $100. Any info would be appreciated.

It's 4 or 5 years old now, if you haven't had the trans fluid flushed before, it would be a good idea to have the fluid flushed and inspected. If you let the dealer do it, then they can fill it to the proper level, hopefully.

Thanks for the response. I had them check the fluid 6-8 months ago and they said that it was fine. Do you think that its probably just a fluid issue?

Low fluid will do that.
