Debating whether to build a 4-link for my '77. Am I getting in over my head? Eventually going to be a drag truck, but still a daily driver. I have it at the paint booth right now and the bed is off, itching to build one, but really intimidated. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
We did build on one my room mates 29 Model A that the geometry was FUNKY to get it to fit in the car - but it still seems fine for a street car Ford Hot Rod - pic is 1/2 way down on the right side - links are in red
I would think the drag ones wouldn't be too hard as you are only dealing with 4-6" of suspension travel and therefore driveshaft plunge and pinion angle through 30" of travel aren't a concern.
You might also look into the "kits' they have available. I doubt there is anything specific for these old trucks - but a generic kit might work well.
