No go
I have a problem with my 2000 crewcab 4x4 , sometimes when i press the accelerator the truck does not go. You can push it several times all the way to the floor before it will take off. Also while I am just cruising down the road it will surge. Need some suggestions please !

Sound like the idle validation switch which is part of the TPS. You can try to clean it up with parts cleaner or compressed air. It is located on the diesel pedal. Try this, with the key in the run position but not started press slowly on the pedal and you should hear a slight click. Let off slowly and it should click again. Try the 15-20 times and this should tell you if this is the problem. Also, if you have a code reader that would help to pull codes.
