somebody should do a walkthrough and buy up any good cabs, sheet metal, rare parts. it would be a waste to crush all of that.

I have yet to find something cool like that around here. I did come across a VW field out in the middle of nowhere, 100s of VW beetles and buses.

Told my buddy about it who's nuts about bugs... none of it for sale. Go figure.

I would think grille shells, dash pads, and any odd, rare items like behind seat tool boxes, gun safes, would be the safe bets for a return on money.

Trim is tricky. It's nice to have original stuff, but with so many now reproducing the trim, either the dent trim or rocker trim and now the racetrack trim... that would just seem like the better way to go.

But Ebay is fickle and can be hit n miss sometimes.

I know if I came across that place, after I recovered from the heartattack, I would end up pissing off my wife by spending way too much time and money there.

most of those body panels look pretty good over there. some doesn't look as good, but still ok.

we go to a junkyard over here in Texas kinda like that. it doesn't have all Fords, but has a lot of dents. and the guy says he isn't crushing anything for a long time since scrap is way down.

since your wife won't let you get more stuff get rid of some of those 4 or 5 junk Fords and pick up the ones that you think are better.

snow? still?.....that sucks.

It's people with collections like this that make me look sane, how ever if he wasn't 4,000miles or so away I would be doing everything in my power to buy up everything the guy has. "At some point a hobby can become a habit and longago I developed a nasty truck habit. It's really an afliction, I thourghly enjoy my truck habit."

Are all of these parts in Williams Lake? I live in Bellingham, I might know of a couple of people who could use some parts. It wouldn't be too bad of a drive from here if it wasn't too far from you. Let me know. Thanks,
Chris

I wish I would have known about that place when I was out your way last summer. Wife would have been pretty bitter if she had to sit around there for a day though.
