Ignition switch lock problem

I found out the reason why my steering wheel is binding up was because of bad bearings in the steering column. I disassembled everything, put in the new bearings and put it all back together per the book (or so I thought.) Now the accessory position is the only position the key will come out in and the truck will not go to the start position, only run. What did I do wrong?? And how can I fix it? I suspect I got the timing off somehow, but not sure how to correct it.

Probably something in lock cylinder. I would take it back out and try it with a screw driver. If the lock cylinder is messed up you can easily get a new one

Figured it out...didn't have switch module installed before I put the gear in for the steering lock. This screwed up the timing and the location of the gear. I must have missed that step in the manual. Put the switch on with it in the Run position and then installed the gear, then the bearing plate and all worked well. Thanks for the reply.
