If you see some shady looking guy milling around there is no cause for concern. In about 2 hours from start to finish I can have that puppy yanked out.

2 Hours??? You planning on having lunch and drinking some beer during the process??
Well geez.....I guess I was gonna leave things somewhat neat for George. I guess I'll just hook onto it with the cherry picker and "find all the weak links" and jerk it out without loosening any bolts. Nevermind that radiator. Everyone knows the quickest way to pull and engine is to just hook the engine to my Dodge and pull!!!

Well Boys, Sadness Struck Today Had the 428 sonic tested and the block is basicaly a boat anchor. 3 cylindars are very, very, very thin due to rust from running water through it for years. So guess the plan now is to build the old 360 into a 410. Still will be a good strong running motor but I was really looking forward to a 428.

That sucks George.
I have a 460 that is in need of a complete rebuild.
But if its of any use to you, its yours free of charge.
It did run ( barely) when I pulled it out of an old truck about 6 years ago.
Just an open offer, I am not using it.
You pay shipping is all.
Thanks Marty that is a very generous offer! I am trying to keep an FE in it so that I don't have to change the transmission and stuff. It will actually be cheaper for me to just take my 360 and build a 410 using the 428 crank and rods in it.
I was updating my gallery and tried to create another album because my one album is full and for some reason, I'd create a new album and then it wouldn't show up. So, here is a link to my photobucket.
TRUCK LOOKS AWSOME! I may also ad that you have very good taste in wheels! Have you thought about a roll top for the box? If you have, take a look at the Jack Rabbit or Full Metal JackRabbit from Pace Edwards. I just installed a JackRabbit on a pickup and it looks very nice. I have a regular Roll Top on my 69 which looks good but the JackRabbit series sit flat with the box and take up less room up front. Enjoy it!
