Removing rear rotors

Please tell me all of your good tricks for getting the rear rotor off. I have heard of loosening the lug nuts then backing up and applying the brakes. I'm not sure about that one though.

I would use something like PB Blaster/WD-40 all around the rotor and then if you are throwing it away a hammer works well.

Like Senix said, PB Blaster and a hammer work like a charm.

When you put the new one on, get some anti-seize compound and use it. Won't guarantee an easier time of it in the future but it does help.

make sure the parking brake is adjusted all the way down so the shoes aren't fighting you. I hammered on the back of the rotor all the way around a few times after letting it soak with pb blaster for a few minutes.
