OK last time when i have same problem my fuel tank been clog so looks not enough fuel going thru injectors ,check fuel filter if on top or just pull water drain

I just washed the engine on my "new" truck and I always do it after it has been sitting over night. I also only do it right before I know I have plenty of driving to do. I never like to let water sit on or near the engine.

I don't think washing the engine is a bad thing. You just have to be careful where you spray the water. Last time I did it when doing my glow plugs, I took a leaf blower afterward and blew out the residual water. I did not have any problems. I would rather let things dry out a day or two before starting. Worked at a semiconductor plant and got water on the equipment from a roof leak and the engineers did not release that tool back to production for a few days and pulled out all the boards.
