Trans Flush
Im need some info about flushing the trans in these trucks (auto) can i do this in my own shop i do not know very much about automatics. I tried searching this but recently the search part on this site is very unreliable for some reason.

This was written for the 99-03 SouperDooty trucks but the procedure is the same for our OBS trucks.

I recommend skipping any flushing. Drop the pan, change the filter, reinstall pan then drain the torque converter. refill and run it. For the quart or two of fluid its a lot of work to get it out.
