MadVan, don't know if you've seen this or if it will help any: Diesel-Central.com the technical source for Diesel Truck information, Truck Pulling, and Drag Racing

You might contact them for a seal #.

Okay Bill here ya go. I had 2 95 pumps and one 17* pump.

This # was common to all three.
5M-14878

This # was on the 17* and one 15*
71-01-076-001

And all three of them had another #

22 on a 15*
17 on a 15*
14 on the 17*

That was all the #s I found on the rubber seal on the front shaft of the pumps I have. Hope that helps.

lol i've been moving. i bought a house back in February and have been moving in ever since, lol ( i never realized how much garage/shop stuff i truely have). i decided to take advantage of this wonderful economy and make it work for me, and so glad I did! i bought it mainly for the investment value, its no where NEAR my dream house but i figured if i already have 20K in equity now, when the market comes back and builds strong i can sell it and make a pretty penny. then move out to where i wanna be.... the country. its a quaint, quiet neighborhood only a few minutes from the nearest store. heck the best part is it is 8 minutes from work, and thats with traffic! lol. i've already saved hundreds in not having to drive far to work!

anywho, so yea, i have been setting up shop and getting ready to start working on my truck and bronco again! i still gotta finish the fully hydraulic steering i started more than 6 months ago on the bronk! lol

so yea.... its the seal i removed and kept when i swapped hpop's. i tell ya i am not impressed with that mod! lol. looking back i wouldnt have wasted my time as i dont feel i gained anything! but anywho, thats my multiple soapboxes rolled into one, lol.
