Exclamation Need your input chapter members...

Hey all, I've been mulling over this for a while, and I'd like to get your input. We currently have over 100 members in our chapter. There are several who have not been on FTE for over a year. What I'd like to know from you guys, should I remove them as members, and if so, should we put a time limit for those who do not log onto FTE, to then purge those from membership in the chapter? We have a lot of members that don't post much in the chapter, but are still active on the tech forums. Those folks will remain members. It's the people who don't get on FTE at all that I'm concerned about.

Please post up your input! Thanks!!

Does FTE ever purge members that haven't logged in for ages?

I think if they haven't been on FTE in a year, zap them. If for some reason they do come back on, they can always join the chapter again.

I'd bet most of the ones who haven't been around moved on to other things and don't even remember being here.

Agree... if they haven't even logged in to the site then remove from Chapter to give us a real # of members, that is unless FTE gives the chapter "fun money" for every member we have!

Morning all. I agree, they have moved on. If they need any info, they will google and be right back here.

Not everyone has the email option or the pm option enabled and I am sure that Pat will agree with this statement that as CL it is a real PIA when you are trying to get input from all of the chapter members. Been there, done that.

It became real obvious to me when I was trying to do a mass pm to the chapter members regarding our chapter decal.

Me too. I always track the PM's I send out. I still have ones that haven't been read from the first G2G Pm I sent out in February.

Or, we could just send Gary on a mission to "gently convince" those members to become active...
