Well lets see I had the truck for about a month, just got plates on it, and later that same day my new exhaust showed up... I towed my jeep down to missouri last weekend, and the truck did horrible starting out, avg 10 going down, than avg 14 coming back. put a little over 1,100 miles on it for the trip. My buddy has a dodge V10 he avg I think around 5.5mpg.
I am excited next weekend I leave for Kansas. So the current mods are 6637, and MBRP 4" exhaust. Looking at a DP tuner now, just need to figure out what tunes to go with. I have pyro, trans gauges installed, just need to install my boost gauge. Driving this truck is awesome, it sure beats the heck out of my 01 V10.
So Driving down to missouri and back, I spent a total of $148 in diesel. I know a lesser mileage trip to kansas would cost me around $200, in my 01 V10.
Sounds great, injoy your truck. Just a thought, you may want to upgrade your tranny with a valve body before you do the DP, this way its done and Jody can program the tunes to it or wait and go with the J. Wood VB and no programming will be nessesary, just my .2
