Yeah, I didn't know about Bill before... interesting. I've got a DP right now and I'm happy with it, but I still like to compare things. Live tuning is the best for sure, since it'll match how you drive. But getting that done is the cost of a whole new chip practically!!! DANG! You get what you pay for though...
This is very true. Bill got Jody started. When Bill went over to Edge to do their programming he gave/sold (not sure which) Jody all the equipment and said go for it. He's been gone from Edge about a year or more and started PHP. I have one of Bill's old Diesel Power 4-position chips in my 1995 from before Jody got going with DP Tuner and Bill went to Edge. Still performing strong and works great.
I just got live tuned by Jody and am happy with the new DP Tuner. However, Bill's stuff should not be overlooked either as I run one of his chips as well in the '95 and am pleased.
This might be a loaded question but... how would one of their phoenix modules compare with a DP? The Power Hungry one seems cheaper. Also, if I get a BTS VB first, would he be able to tune for the VB as well as Jody would (I know Brian and Jody sort of work together.)
Thanks

Yes they would beable to do the same exact things as DP.
Can't wait to get live tuned from Bill! Might be buying one of those burners too!
Quick question to satisfy my curiosity. I thought the burner downloaded the programs from PHP's site? If so, do they have a special place on line to store your live tunes, or will you just leave a couple of slots open without the live tuning to play around with?

I am not sure exactly. But I talked with Groovy Chick on here. I am planning on having my truck live tuned and have Bill just collect all the files that I want. Then download them to the burner or server, whatever they do. Then I can just change the tunes on my standard TS style chip when I want. I only have 4 positions on my current chip and instead of spending another 175 and buying another chip.. .might as well just buy the burner. That is kinda what I have been thinking...
Groovy chick said she should beable to work this out. But I sure like the burner idea !
