Trailering backhoe attachment
UHaul has a 6' X 9' dual axle trailer with short sides(2'?). Load
carrying capacity is 4000lbs. (Have not seen it yet)
I need to transport a Ford 723 backhoe attachment. Thinking about using this trailer (only thing available on short notice in area).
Weight of backhoe attachment estimated to be under 2000lbs.
Distance to travel with load 70 miles. The backhoe reach when extended = 10 ft.Folds to something less what I'm not sure. Bucket is 16" wide. (Off a Ford 2000 Industrial Tractor)
My concern is the trailer size. Truck towing it is F-250 with receiver hitch. Trailer weight I will estimate at less than 2000lbs.
