I had a V10 on an F-53 Chassis Motorhome. I absolutely loved it. Pulled a Jeep Cherokee, along with full 110 gal fresh water and totally loaded. After 160,000 miles I finally got rid of it. I now have an 08 F-250 pulling a 5er and I also like the power of the diesel. I averaged 10 with the V 10 where the diesel is about the same. I think it just depends a lot on the amount of constant traveling. Either one, V10 or Diesel, is a great choice, I don't think you can go wrong with either decision...
