I always put Rancho RS 5000's on all my trucks but I change out the factory rubber bushings with the Rancho Poly bushings before I put them on. They are a booger to do but well worth it.
In almost 20 years of running Rancho's I've only ever had to replace one and the place I bought them from swapped it for free since they have a lifetime limited warrantee.
I agree with F-350PSD, I run the NAPA Heavy Duty Coil Overs on the rear and standard Heavey Duty on the front, but I tow and haul alot. Alot of poeple don't like them because they are stiff, but they will carry a load, last a long time and have a good price. Others seem to prefer a softer ride and like Blistein's which are also good shocks but pricey (IMHO) about $130 a pair.
All I have to say is if im driving a '97 F-350 with a PSD it better have a stiff ride! Common its gotta be the most rugged looking truck ever built, and thats how a rugged truck should ride.
In July 07 I put on ProComps ES1000. The Bushings are wore out and they are loosing their "Absorption".
Bilstein....
Pro Comp is S**T.... just got rid of them a couple of weeks ago for the bilsteins... I had the same bushing issues with the Pro Comps... I called there customer support line which was pretty much a joke... they told me bushings are designed to wear out... my shocks were only about a year old, there solution was selling me new bushings... That was my first, only, and last Pro Comp purchase...
I bought my Bilsteins through E-shocks.com, they had a buy 3 get 1 free offer, couldnt pass that up...

That is why I am replacing them, very unhappy with ProComp.
Thanks.
