Its funny that neither of my F150s have had a serious problem with the lenses clouding over like some other makes. I like the lightning chin spoiler lights.

Get a headlight relay kit so that the bulbs get full voltage. It will also save your headlight switch from carrying the load of the lights.
Also get some good bulbs like GE NightHawk (not sport) or Sylvania Xtravision.
Silverstar is crap. They are are tinted so they appear whiter but less light is actually allowed through the coating. Stay away from tinted bulbs.
The Euro lenses do not properly aim the beam so they are actually a downgrade. The OEM headlight lense is actually the best choice provided its not all dull and hazey.

So then A relay, replacement OEM lenses and an HID kit will give the brightest lights?
Damn that is bad. Yeah with the relay harness just use some good + 20% or 30% halogen bulbs that are not tinted or colored.
It is actually 2 relays. It is easy to install. The hardest part is routing the wiring to make it look nice. You can get power from your starter soleniod. The harness plugs into one of your factory light connectors and then plugs into the headlights sort of like a Y. The other headlight plug is not used.

I was looking at the LMC relays. Are they any good?
They should be fine. Several members on this site have them. I got mine off of ebay, but I think they are the same thing as the LMC ones. They look the same. Mine work great. Just make sure you get the correct year. I think 87-91 is 9004 and 92-96 is 9007 bulbs. So if you don't get the right year it will be wired incorreclty.

I got it in. It is GREAT! The relays help so much!
