front hubs
new to this hello,alot of knowledgeable people on this site--anybody know of bolt on modern relacement front locking hubs---have what looks to be heavy duty original--no don't know exact or how to find out axle guess closed knuckle dana 44...........

There were two different axles available in 1964, the lighter duty 3000# and the heavy duty 3500#. The best replacements are from Warn. The lighter duty Warn number is 20990 and the heavy duty number is 9072. The best way to tell the two apart is that the lighter duty hub fits inside the end of the axle tube while the heavy duty hub bolts onto the end of the axle tube.
