What does the hpop gauge do? What type of reading and where does it mount to on the engine?
High Pressure Oil (HPO) is what pushes the plunger in your injectors, pushing the fuel out. Pressures run from 600-700 at idle to 3000-4000 at WOT. A High Pressure Oil Pump gauge reads what kind of pressure your pump is putting out. If you have a program that is asking for too much HPO, performance will suffer, or if your pump is weak, peformance will suffer...
Here is just a quick video I took a while ago, its of my Scan gauge with both Duty Cycle, and HPO pressures.
Duty Cycle is how hard the pump is working... Anything more then 40-45% is too hard... I need a new pump.
and on a side note Isspro makes it super easy to install the HPO guage in the Performax line. The engine connection is literally a pigtail that is plugged into the ICP sensor, and run to the Performax ECM.
I'll add another thumbs up to the Performax line .. I have 11 of them installed and they are a BREEZE to do once you have the main control unit set and wired ..
