a friend of mine has a '77 F100 2wd rc lwb. he wants to sell it but we don't know what to ask for it. it has a 429, c-6 and a 3.50 posi rr. in almost as gooda shape as it rolled off the showroom floor.
2wd ? 429 posi miliage? Got to find "that person" looking for one like that. Show room condition, todays economy, start at $4000 OBO, but be ready to accept less, IMO
Like myv-879 said CASH haha, or a good trade like for another 70 ish 4x4 Ford.
Also remember that "almost showroom condition" is a relative term to many. I've seen trucks advertised that way that, well, lets' say were really used. I've also seen trucks advertised as "good condition" that I considered almost mint. Pictures help a lot here. Is it clean? any rust? shiny glossy paint? perfect interior, including under the seat and in the corners?, etc., etc., It gets kinda sticky when you use that term. Better to say "must see in person to appreciate".. Just my own 2 cents worth!
Dak
I'll get some pics, we're building a Mack firetruck over there right now. "Almost showroom condition" means slick as it can be but some jealous sob shot a shotgun at the rt front fender from about 20 or 30 feet away, otherwise it's clean. Black with red interior. I offered him 2k for it. thanks again chris
