Pcm flash...re program for deleted (no stealerships)
01 7.3 dpc-452 CA.(low) Emissions
Anyone know of a shop somewhere in SoCal preferably close to riverside that can flash/reprogram a Pcm? A neighbor called code enforcement on me for my truck sitting in the driveway (dick move seeing how it’s my work truck) and been going threw hell trying to get it running even tried buying a new Pcm from dealership, they said it’ll be here in 4 days ...and 5 weeks later I went ahead and canceled that order because i found a dpc 452 on eBay only to plug it in and my scanner says excursion which isn’t compatible even though all program codes and everything match 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️....on about week 8 and still haven’t even got my money back from dealership because the refund has to be approved by the boss who has been out sick for past 2 months lol not made of money or anything so kinda on a budget but I’ll throw everything I got at it if I have too...think I have till Friday 💀💀💀.........threw old Pcm in today of very briefly got the oil to come out the injector but then nothing for the hours of cranking after 🥺🥺🥺
anyhelp would be appreciated
*****neighbors are gonna hate me if that truck gets towed and I pull my other same exact truck out of my garage that was stolen and ran into the ground 😂💁🏻♂️ Can’t stop won’t stop*****

Knew that was coming haha
Got the truck crashed 480k and the bolt was broken off in the Pcm from previous owner and I didn’t realize it till it kept cutting out then suddenly no communication with Pcm figured it was toast from disconnecting while truck was on but slapped together a little something so I can bolt it back on to hold but still wouldn’t read but yesterday it did for a sec for some reason 🤷🏻♂️
Using FORScan app tho

Yeah, we would like to know why you needed a new PCM. These things are pretty robust.
On to the Excursion part. Yes, Excursions used the DPC-452 PCMs that were in the F-Series as well. They have the hardware to run a Commiefornia-mandated glow plug module. A pickup DPC-452 can be used in an Excursion but not the other way around as the Excursions utilized PATS so without the correct PATS hardware in the pickup (and of course the correct key), the vehicle will not start.
