My visits to the dealership repair shop pretty much end when my warranty ends. On gassers anyway. There are plenty of honest shops out there who work to earn your business.
so turns out that i have 75 PSI in one cylinder and theres probably a lifter hanging... so i took it to the shop that a guy i know runs and he is going to tear into it... now i just have to cross my fingers and hope he is willing to let me trade hours on the softail harley he needs rebuilt!
Ya. I got thinking about that after I typed it. We were having trouble with thieves cutting catalitic converters off trucks with sawzalls to get the platinum money from salvage yards. Thats a whole other topic though.
