If nobody posts up an online source, I could scan and email the directions from the Ford service manual tomorrow at work. In all honesty, if you need to post for help on this, your really need to buy a service manual soon. No offense intended. I well remember my early mechanical days. Welcome to the forum.

I took my hubs to a local truck suspension shop who pressed out the old races and put in new ones. Adding new bearings is a simple task once the races are in.
A shop Manual is a big help.

I have a service manual I just was confused on how they fit to the drum and removing them. Also never have done races so I was hoping for detailed walk through.

They aren't that hard. Clean out the hub as clean as possible. You can feel the slight lip of the bearing race. Flip the hub over and carefully use a chisel to work the race out from the other side, moving the chisel around the race so it comes out as straight as possible. Take your time. Line up the new race and gently tap it in, using a wood block until it's seated.

If you're not familiar with doing this, or don't feel comfortable doing this, I strongly suggest taking it to a automotive machine shop and have them replace them. I doubt it will cost much and in the long run it will be worth it. There is a lot of other work you can do on your truck and you can leave this to the pros.

its near impossible to damage the race (wait, its the old one anyhow on the way out!)..

on some hubs there is a small slot that gives greater punch seating room on the back edge of the race. I always used a flat face round punch chisel..

tap a little on one side, then the other..

back in is a snap.. a socket turned upside down (on a brake drum of course)
