Trailer Lights

I have a 99 F250 towing a 21ft. trailer. At night while towing I turn the lights on the truck and when i press on the brakes the brake lights on the trailer go dark. Then when i let off the brakes the lights on the trailer come back on. Help!

99% of the time it's bad grounds. Clean it, run a new one, or run an extra one!

A good way to get quick confirmation of trailer/tow vehicle grounding problems is to take a jumper cable from the frame of the trailer to the frame of the tow vehicle
