Wood bed
Hi I am new to the forums and looking for some info. I hope there is someone here who can help me. I have a 1978 Ford F-100 SWB stepside and am making a wood bed out fo black walnut. I was wondering if anyone knew the dimensions or have a layout for thw wood for this particular bed. I have searched the web over and over and just can't seem to find anything. The truck will be back from the body shop in a month and i hope to get the boards milled. If anyone has any info at all it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess i'm going to just have to start from scratch allthough I am definately not much of a carpenter. It does look like you've got a good start there poison and I definately like the blue you sprayed on the cab. I'll have new and old pics up of my truck soon.
