Back in the high school days (when Zeppelin was still around), we had to write a poem for english class. My buddy had copied the words from "Black Dog". When the teacher read it out loud to the class, we were all in tears from fighting back the laughter!
The teacher was clueless and needless to say, she gave him an "A".

I still recall the release of the very first album. Yes, that is album, not CD. I was 18, 1969. Liked all of their material but now it is so overplayed on the airwaves that it is hard to listen. I would'nt mind if they played something other than the mega hits. "Stairway to Heaven" has been played to death. 
Radio sure knows how to ruin a good tune.
Zepp really does bring back a flood of great feelings from 1969-1972.
I still have all of the original vinyl releases.

I was exactly right there with you Brien & I still have all my old 45's, 33/1/3 Lp's.
Radio crucifies some music by starting it while still talking or ennding them early.
We used to have a radio station here in Calgary that played Album rock.
Songs like the 17 minute version> Thick as a Brick (Jethro Tull)
14 minute version of Iron Butterfly's *In a Gadda da Vidda*
Those were the days My Friend !

I don't have Coda, but I've got the rest. Album & CD for most, plus the 3CD Remaster set. My favorites are "Fool in the Rain", "The Rain Song", "Immigrant Song", & "Rock & Roll". If my 20G HD wasn't full, I'd have 'em all ripped by now!

OK....i have to tell ya...even though zep is (has been)great since i was 18...they never sung their own songs..they lip synked just like those two Who got those awards!!!!.....OK, just kiddin....if you like zep......ck out tya(ten years after)w/alvin lee....or rory gallagher, a dead irish rocker....true to form guitarists that never sold out to big buis.......just flash gitar at it's best...if interested i will point you to the best re-released cd's//70's rock rule' after that///////....still stuck in the 70's....Dan / FT
