Getting ready to order a bunch of parts for my engine, and the instructions for the Edelbrock intake I've got say to use Gasgacinch or equivalent.
I've got a bottle of 3D Permatex Aviation sealant that was left over from my motorcycle rebuild this winter- I would think that it would work, but I'm always second guessing myself, so I thought I'd ask.
If not the aviation stuff, is there something better than Gasgacinch I should use, or do I need to buy what they recommend?
Coincidentally, Gascacinch is now owned by Edelbrock.
It's pretty close to rubber cement in consistency. I think this or the Permatex will be fine, the Gascacinch will be much easier to remove when you take the intake off in the future.
