24 psi is very easily done with the wastegate disconnected and an overboost annihilator installed.

well wastegate is unplugged but thats it, and it isnt over boost cause that light stays on for a minute? mine blinks like almost hard to catch...

The SES light will come on for a lot of reasons, not just overboost.
If you want accurate information, you need to have a scanner connected at the time.

An overboost code will not flash it will come on and stay on for between 60 and 120 seconds the flashing sounds like a bad connection or a sensor on its last leg.

ok thanks, not sure where i can get a scanner to do that, would the napa scanner work or no

Probably no, most parts store scanners won't read diesels. If you don't have anyone close with a good scanner, hit up your dealer.

how much does it cost at the dealer, i live in a 3000person community 2 hours from a local dealer... though weekends i go to town

When I had mine done in a similar size town it was around $30 IIRC. Go talk to them, be friendly, and see what they will do. If they are a good dealer they will make you a deal.

so today i rigged up a boost gauge and not sure where im going to put my mount for being quite short having a big piller making my blind spot even bigger might be bad, but thats what ill probably do i pulled 22.5 psi of boost in a straight stretch with 18k mod 6637 filter straight piped to dual stacks, stock downpipe... oh and wastegate unplugged, is that normal height? i also rigged it in on that tube from turbo to map, would that be a correct reading?
