I have a rear sump oil pan from a 4wd truck 460 to install on my f100, will i need a different oil pump to go with the 460 oil pick up on a 69 t bird 429 I am putting in ?

 

not sure on the tbird but i put a rear sump pan in my 83 mustang when i swapped to a 460 and i had to get a pump for a mid 80s e350 van with a 460. the dif is the rear sump pump has a bolt on pickup and a frt sump has a press in pickup.

 

I used the same part number oil pump for my 429 from a 70 tbird with the front sump and to my rear sump truck. Just a different pickup tube and oil pan.
