You really need to learn how to properly wash a vehicle. Why don't you come over tomorrow and you can practice on mine.
The truck looks good, and there's nothing wrong with the 06 6.0. That's the last full year of production before they started adding all the excess emissions stuff that killed the mileage. And it's still possible to do one or two things under the hood without having to remove the cab.
Nice truck FD. Happy birthday to you and your truck! What head unit is in the dash? Looks sweet. I may need to replace mine in the not too distant future.
Thanks for all the nice reply's. I honestly take real pride in my truck and how I take care of it. It's the "Kids better not ride there bikes in the drive way and long walks in parking lots are preferred" kinda pride.

The unit is a Pioneer AVIC-Z2. It went for a little over $2K in '07 but now I've seen them as low as $999 on some reputable sites. I'm gonna pickup another one for parts if I can. I "reworked" the unit so I can us the option bluetooth/ phone menu and DVD abilities while driving too. Next is a backup camera.

On my way. I'm a bit slow though. It took a little over 3 hours to wash and wax. Then another 2 hours to do windows, vacuum, leather and then make everything shiny on the inside. I try to make it an all day event. In general, I think it's good time to myself.
Ain't that the truth. It's always nice to have time to do that kind of stuff without interruptions, etc. For me, it's always a good time to make use of all of my detailing stuff and the mini-fridge in the garage.
