Sorry guys, I am very excited and want to tell someone and my girlfriend doesnt care. lol But I called Dave at DI lastnight and ordered a set of polished headers! I cant wait until I go to BTS next week pick up the new motor and get to install the headers! Now all I want to order is an intercooler....oh and I ordered a set of high strengh chromemoly heat treated pushrods from Dave also for my new motor!
I am told it will lower EGT's and quicker spool up. instead of exhaust gases comming out of the head and bouncing off of the 90* turn of the manifolds it will flow better causing quicker spool up......plus the sound badass and look great!
I know elmos truck sounded GOOD with the headers! Good to see the Wizard got you hooked up, why don't you two wait and come thru on April the 4th and help us out with Cory's motor.
I am soo hypped to get this motor, i dont wanna wait another minute! let alone two more weeks!
Briand gave me a stock 7.3 and cale put it chip on it that i used to get home and get around until mine was done...so I will be driving down and taking this motor back out and putting mine in the continuing my trip to Tennessee and swamps!!!
oh mind I add, Tax returns just bought me a cervinis 3" cowl hood and procomp traction bars!
I am pretty sure I will be taking 81 from Tennessee to Maryland....
and FYI...Kris will not be going with me this time..he has had a planned vacation with a buddy fourwheeler trip this comming up week and weekend....it will be me and my cousin Chris Crabb...he has a 7.3 also, is on .org and the nation
Well shoot if you're comin up 81, might consider dinner round about my ways... I think i met you at Carlisle with Kris if i'm not mistaken... lemme know kenny
