what is it?

On our powerstrokes there is a little box about an inch square or so that is semi clear on one side and you can see circuits inside. It's on a plug on top of the engine near the fuel filter. It's just plugged into the wiring harness but nor attached to anything. What is that?

Its the solid state ckt board for the water in fuel lamp.

Thanks. Now I know which connector I need to blow out too next time I wash my wifes motor. The water in fuel light always comes on after I was it.
