hey im thinkin about puttin some dual exhaust on my 05 ranger 4.0L any ideas what kinds would sound real good. i know its only a 6 cylinder so it wont be to throaty but i also dont wanna sound like a cherry bomb honda civic either lol
hmm i wonder if i could do duals with the 40 series. i dunno why but im sold on duals i love the look but like i said i need something thats gonna be a little throaty
I like the gibson dual sport, both pipes exit ehind the passenger tire. Gibson also has a dual system where both pipes exit on each side of the rear bumper. I've used gibson for years, there a good quality system. Not to loud, just a low rumble, sounds good a 4.0.
when u say duals do you mean true duals or single inlet muffler to dual outlet? on a v6, i wouldnt go true duals for the fact that they dont sound very good imo. single in dual out 40 series flowmaster is the ticket. top it off with some nice tips and you wont be dissapointed with sound or looks.
put the quietest dual outlet muffler on possible, running a pie to both rear corners. then put a P.A. speaker under the bed with a recording of a 351 H.O. exhaust.
