Power window binding

My passenger power window on my 2000 truck is binding. Goes down fine but up is so slow I think I might damage the motor. If I pull up on the rearward side it goes up fine too. If I lube the tracks regularly it works fine. Problem is I have yet to find a lube that does not leave film near the edge of the window. Also anyone know of a lube that last longer or somewhat waterproof? Or better yet how do I fix this frustration for good? Thanks guys

I would pull the door apart. You might have a small roller wheel missing or not turning.

Also, the gears in these things are plastic, and fail with age. Gear kits are available.jd

I had the same problem. Thought maybe the motor was going bad so I took it to autobody shop. I already did all the greasing of the tracks but that didn't. It was binding on the left side of the window next to the seal. He put some sort of oil on the outer edge of the window and it works like new.
