Which pipes for performance/which pipes for sound?

Loudes mufflers = No mufflers. otherwise look to Cherry Bomb for the Glasspacks or the Cherry Bomb Extreme. The glasspacks can be had as short as 8" anf the extreme is 6" long and kind of like a flowmaster only louder with less of that *****ty sound they produce. For the pipe... Do the entire system and call it a day. Before anyone can say what would be a good pipe size what engine are we talking about here?

hey everyone, i have a 2001 F-250 with the 5.4L V8 i just installed a K&N Intake, and my next project is the exhaust, i would enjoy your feed back on what you think is the best modifications to make for more horsepower and deeper sound? So let me know what you think i appreciate it.

i have the flowmaster 40 series single muffler with dual rear exits. not too loud in the cab and with the sunroof and/or windows open in town, she sounds great!
