2000 Excursion rear door speakers and third row speakers aren't working. I checked their is speakers, changed out stock stereo thinking may it was the problem, when i unplugged stock their is a extra plug i didnt use im assuming this is the plug for rear speakers anybody with any ideals or experience this swapping out to aftermarket stereo. im thinking theirs another adapter i need bought the single plug to go directly to ford wiring but like i said extra plug no were to go thanks
correct i thought maybe the head unit was bad when i turned to rear on the fade nothing so i was wanting to upgrade anyway still nothing. im having electrical nightmares with this truck and just bought it
I was going to add that, when I changed out my center console for the center jump seat, I HAD to unplug the controler for the DVD player.
The other day I was in the back, which I never am, and noticed that there was no sound coming from the speakers. I think its because I unpluged the controller. So, I am going to just plug the controller back in and let it hang out under the jump seat for now. Until I come up with a cup holder, controller fix.
