Erratic Idle

Truck idle's around 900 rpm when warm then jumps up to 1100 for a small period of time then back down to 900. I've cleaned the Mass air flow sensor and the other sensor on the elbow of the air cleaner intake recently but it didn't change anything. Thoughts?

maybe clean the IAC , next check the TPS ( i think our V-10's have one, my 85 F150 did)
the TPS is like an old radio dial- a rheostat-it gets worn out in the idle position.

What year you have? If you have a 2V (99-04) take off your IAC (idle air control) and give it a cleaning. Also maybe replace the gasket. If you still have an issue then look into replacing it. An IAC is not cheap ($60-$75) so try cleaning it first.
If you have a 3V (05+) you won't have an IAC. Maybe some of the 3V guys will have some advise if so.
