Most anything mid-late 60's full size could have a 4bbl on it. Depends on how it was optioned. Likely no trucks(unless someone put one on).
Likely the old 4bbl Autolite could be re-used. Nothing much more to them then the 2bbl version(two more holes). As long as it's in working condition(not rotted or frozen up).
In 1971, Ford was forced by the US Gov't to sell Auto-Lite, because the Gov't claimed Ford had a monopoly on auto parts.
A lotta BS when you consider that GM owned DELCO (since the 19 teens), and was not told to sell it.
Anyway...Ford then started Motorcraft. Ford transfered all the Auto-Lite part numbers over to Motorcraft part numbers. Most of the parts are identical.
Because all the 1972 and later parts are Motorcraft, and dealers and private owners alike used these parts on 1971 and earlier vehicles, do not be surprised if you find Motorcraft 4V carbs on 1971 and earlier passenger cars.
