Chrome Strips On Door???

Chrome Strips On Door???
what holds them factory chrome strips on the door on?? i wanted to take them off to give my truck a smooth look but didnt want to start tearing them off and have them little line up holes behind them like the fender emblems.... if its just 2 sided tape i'm going to remove them

I got factory white strips, came with the truck new and they are the color of my truck but I would think they would be sticked on with two sided tape, IMO..Some trucks come with the clean look..

lol i dont know how to put a picture in a reply its a 1inch black with chrome inside strip runs the length of the door about 5inch up from the bottom i know its factory i've seen alot of truck with them and i wanna know how to take it off?? and if there's holes behind them...

its a black rubber strip with a chrome middle about 1 inch wide and is put like right where the body lines meet...i dont know how to explain it any better but i;ve seen truck with them its about 5 to 6inch from the bottom of the door
