2" front suspension lift question

Hi all. Have a 2009 F150 xlt 5.4 3.55 limited slip and the front end is just to low. I want to put in the 2" or 3" leveling kit in the front and an added 1" in the rear. Has anyone put in the front kit without disconnecting everything? (sway bar,tie rod end, upper ball joint) Can you use a spring compressor and pull the assembly out by itself, add the 2 or 3 inch spacer and reinstall? thanks

with out a dout everthing is going to have to come apart to get the spacer in

there is one person on here that did install a 2.5 leveling kit and with everthing tore apart still had to use a spring compresser to install it due to a changed lower control arms from the 04 to 08 trucks

Yeah i put a 2.5" on mine. It's really not a big deal to disconnect the sway bar or the upper ball joint. The tie rods do stay intact. Even with everything taken apart I had to use a spring compressor. Do a search and you'll find my thread. There is also a great write-up on f150online.com in the suspension section. Its really not a hard install. I would recommend the 2". My front end is maybe a little high.
