They look at me funny. I guess because I have stacks on a small truck compared to them. I put my CB away a looooong time ago but I do sorta want one back. If only I could invent an invisible antenna LOL.
No doubt. I use to run a Cobra 29 scoped and tuned with white noise filter and wilson silverloads. Then I got rid of it when I got a new toolbox. Had dual antenna's but only one running, other was a dummy. I had pretty good range out here in Austin.
Oh I love it. 3-5 shift though will grab the snot out of you if you aren't prepared for it. She does run hotter then normal with the new converter I've noticed.

I've got mine mounted on the side of the toolbox...3' firesticks with a Cobra 29. I gave away my last radio that was peaked, tuned, and super modified with an amp. Now I'm starting over.
