Very good. The price is right and once you get her all straightened out, only you will know. The only issue with the '01's is the mechanical diode in the tranny, and whether or not she has powdered metal rods. There are guys in here with pretty high horsepower rigs(for a 7.3) with the diode tranny's and no issues but it is something to be aware of. Good find though. Congrats and welcome to the club.

I'm not certain on the recall, but it was only a certain couple of months but I'm not sure which ones. There are definitely some guys here that will know which vin #s or build dates to look at.

got some new pictures i just finished the truck up today. the dmv inspector came monday and i went to DMV today to get my plates and title and stuff, but of course dmv has to be a pain in the a** and wanted some bs paper that i didnt have .so i will wait till tommorrow till i can drive it. the waiting is KILLING me!!

oh yea i took the fake bead locks off and painted them the same color of the truck, and polished the wheels. looked way better than the did before i think. took the stupid hub caps of to and painted the hubs black. what yal think? also put a straight pipe 4 inch on it, gosh it sounds nasty!

another view. notice the bumper has a few dents in it. we dont have a good one so im waiting till we get and rolled truck or something. also got a grille gaurd off a f150 with some kc lights on it. i gotta make some custom brackets so il take pictures when im done

Lookin good Eric. Biggest thing I noticed was the missing F250 emblems. If you want/need parts, check this out: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...ct-w-pics.html

I like the beadlock trim on the wheel that matches the truck.
