Body Swap

I'm looking into changing the body and box on my snow plow truck from a standard cab / long box to a club cab / short box. In the process of looking for a replacement standard cab, I found a great deal on a whole club cab 2wd truck. Will a club cab fit on a standard cab frame? What other kinds of problem can I run into?

Ive often wondered this myself. You need to get out your tape measure and start checking things out. If the wheelbase is the same on the two trucks (I have never actually checked) and they are of similar years, it shouldnt be a problem. Let us know what you find out.

I checked the WB of both trucks and found the std cab/LB to be 137" and the club cab/SB to be 140".

I think that the 3inch difference is more than I can handle.... I'll look for another project.

Thanks
