Cool deal on the Cold A/C!!

Yeah? I don't think that is the look I am going for, maybe I can just drag something everywhere I go?

I checked the wiring to the 7 prong trailer plug on the SD yesterday. It was only letting about 6-7 volts through to the plug. I pulled stuff apart and cleaned contacts and put it back together. I then had 11-12 volts. The problem is the harness under has a plug for the 7 prong plug and it was not making good contact. I could cut it out and direct wire everything, but it is there so if you catch the 7 prong and pull it off, it doesn't tear all the wiring out. I'll see how it works. I also adjusted the park brake shoes on the rear axle. I had to pull one rotor to get it done. It was a pain. It has those little star adjusters like old drum brakes, but one wouldn't turn until I tore stuff apart and got it loose. I still need to do a little more adjusting after driving the truck to get a good hold.

Installed a new driveshaft in the YJ yesterday, I've only needed one for two years now! The old one vibrated when over 40 mph and the new one seems to have fixed that issue so I'll take that as a win.

I also seem to have stopped all the fluid leaks and no longer need cardboard under it in when parked in the garage. We'll see how long that lasts.

Now to just check all fluids, clean out the interior, and pack for the annual weekend of offroading duty.

Since the weather came in and cancelled the CS&W weekend I decided it was time to replace the control arm\***** joints and TRE's on the Yukon Denali this weekend.

As usual it took 7 hours on one side and 3.5 on the other, like clockwork. Once I figured out the order it wasn't too bad at all. Now to get it into the dealer for an alignment and we'll be ready to take the camper for the first outing of the year.

Chad gave me the brilliant idea of using this weekend to replace the clutch on the JK, which seemed like a grand idea, but I didn't do it. I didn't do a dang thing this weekend, but watch movies and comment "I think we got enough of this rain already!"

Had the dealer do an alignment and it drives like a brand new ride, ready to put it to use by tugging the camper this weekend!

I put Freon in my f150, which I think is going to be a common thing moving forward. I am not sure where the leak is, but I suspicion it will cost more than I want to spend to fix, so I bought a couple more cans of Freon at 9 bucks each, and will just fill it as needed.

Miss you guys

Just dropped in to say hi, been a rough couple months... going through a Divorce my wife left me for my best friend/brother in law... haven't had too much time to play with my trucks while it's gone on, but I'm doing well enough considering the circumstances... but I do have a project in the works called the StRanger it's a black 93 ranger shortbed with a 600+hp 429 that might help me outrun her memory 10 seconds or less at a time...
