I would contact the company and ask 'em about your model truck. If I remember right I payed $200 for mine and think it's well worth it when everyone else is sleeping in the mud and I found that the bed of the truck sort of insulates things...
thanks for the reply, they are a really really good idea my wife is even interested in coming camping (maybe!!!) now, so that has to say something, i think the fact that you are off the ground is the deciding fatcor, i have seen special inflatable matresses too that run off 12v and made especially for the bed of truck, make it even more comfier!!! will be looking into this for sure!

You can get them for a custom fit, but I would just as soon pitch my 14'X14' dome tent and leave all the goods in the truck under the shell. Although I have hunted a few seasons with a cot in the back for sleeping and most everything outside except for what I need to get thru the night or some cooking on the campstove. (On a lowered tailgate with the back shell window up).

Mine also has a vent that connects to the back window of the cab which allow heat from the cab to warm up the tent. I've never had to use it but it's nice to know I have the option...
I have a sportz truck tent for my 98 extended cab...have to check and see if I can get it to fit my 06...same bed length but it feels like the 06 is deeper.
Used it a couple of times and next time I use it I will have a inflatable mattress or a bedrug...sleeping in bags on a hard plastic bed liner didn't fly to well with the wife. But it did beat trying to clear a camping spot among the ant beds.

I have a queen size air mattress which fits perfect between the wheel wells. I've seen an air mattress advertised made for truck beds that surround the wheel wells but it's easier to go to the store and pick up a queen size mattress. Besides the space not covered by the mattress is good for storing cloths and stuff...
I looked at Kodiak too, if I remember it was made of canvas so it would be tough. I ended up buying one from Rightline Gear which is based in Asheville, NC. Have not installed it yet....
There are a few mattresses available, but I hadn't bought one yet. Rightline makes one and there is one available at Cabela's as well. Both fit between the wheel wells. I've seen another that fills to the sides but I like the idea of having a place to put backpacks and such.
