a programmer is a good thing to have when making engine mods because it will allow you to adjust injector pulse length and timing on a non dist engine so I would go with the programmer or module for pre 96 years programmers only work for OBD2 so that is where I would start but let Edge or what ever company you use know what mods you plan on doing they may need to adjust the program
nvm i contacted whipple about wether or not they had a supercharger that would fit my f250 and they said they did not. does any1 know of some1 that does make a supercharger for a 2006 f250 5.4l v8? and does anyone have a recommndation on what kind of gears i should get and where is a good place to purchase them? thank you all
since your truck is an 06 I think it is the Triton do you have a 5.4 Triton badge on it the super charger needs to match the engine not the truck so if the F150 and F250 have the same engine they can interchange Summit racing has a Roush super charger for the 06 F150 5.4 Triton
I was trying to figure out witch 5.4 you have because I was looking by engine not by make model and year some times you have to search that way and Ford is not the only thing I have to deal with and I don't have the memory to match every engine to every thing on the road
sorry yes it is a 5.4l triton v8, but isnt the engine in the f150 have a different intake setup or something? i asked whipple if they had a supercharger for my f250 and they told me that they did not.
well does anyone know where i could get a turbo/ TT for my truck then? (06 f250 5.4l v8 triton)
well you will be changing the bottom intake it comes with the super charger as long as the engine is the same you can work with it the valley and heads are the same as long as it's a 5.4 Triton
