Need Some part description/number advice please
Hi there,
I just did a CCV mod/relocation to my truck. I noticed two things that made me crazy
I have a 2004 PSD build date 11/03.
- The hard plastic/rubber elbow ( 4" diameter x 8" long) that hose clamps directly on the intake side of the turbo, that connects to the rubber flex boot that connects to the air filter is ruined from the oil it has consumed for 5 years. I have called the FORD dealer and they have no idea what I'm talking about.
&
-The blue silicone hose directly off the turbo that connects to the intercooler tube (right by the alternator) needs replacing.
Does anyone have part numbers or factory item names for these items? I can't believe that even the FORD dealer cannot find them.
I rigged my elbow up until I get a new one. It was ruined by the oil and the sloppy tech that did my head gaskets @ the dealership. Hose clamp was put on incorrectly and along with the oil....BYE BYE elbow.
